Tucked away in an ancient bushman's shelter Camp Amalinda is one of Africa's most distinguished lodges. Situated just outside Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second largest city, in the hills of the Matobo National Park
Surrounded by the granite domes and "kopjes" that characterise the Matobo National Park. Camp Amalinda is an Africa inspired refuge, where world-class facilities combine with the spiritual energy, allure and unique beauty, for which the Matobo Hills are so celebrated.
The Matobos National Park itself echoes the essence of tranquility and the majesty of untamed Africa. Mammal and bird species are prolific and include the highest concentrations of Leopard and Black Eagle in the world, as well as a very healthy population of the endangered Black Rhino.
Camp Amalinda consists of nine individually thatched rooms which includes two honeymoon suits both set into huge boulders.
Known as he "Lobengula Suite" and the "Rhodes Suite" Each suite is steeped in historical artefact's reflecting the bygone era of these two famous men of Africa, both of whom walked amongst these very rocks
